Airport X-Ray Simulator is a simulation game that puts you in the role of a baggage security operative at a busy airport where you scan, search and report prohibited items in luggage.
In Airport X-Ray Simulator you are a baggage checker at an airport and you have a full selection of tools to allow you to do your job. The bags all pass through an X-ray machine where you can examine them for any suspicious objects. You can then take any suspect luggage to a check area where you can search through it by hand.
There’s a wide range of stuff you might find in those bags, from rubber ducks and adult toys to heroin or sub-machine guns. Any prohibited items such as lighters or fruit must be removed, but illegal objects such as unlicensed guns or drugs need to be flagged so the authorities can check them out.
There’s quite a lot of info to take in during the intro tutorial, but once you get going it’s a lot of fun and is pretty addictive. There’s an odd voyeuristic quality of rummaging about in people’s bags and a real joy in outsmarting someone who’s tried to smuggle drugs in a teddy bear.
