All The Delicate Duplicates is a mysterious experimental transmedia game that gives you glimpses into the lives of its characters in a beautifully rendered splintered storyworld where time no longer feels stable.
Told over a time period of 19 years, All The Delicate Duplicates tells the tale of a single parent (John) and his daughter (Charlotte) who come into possession of a collection of arcane journals and objects from a ‘mysterious Aunt Mo’. As Charlotte delves deeper into the collection, things start to unravel, tensions rise and she starts to question what’s real. A central part of the game is also the poetic, hybrid language called Mezangelle that’s mixes English and computer code to create language where meanings are nested inside each other. It’s a language that’s full of hidden meanings, that requires you to read and re-read as you slowly unearth the disturbing truth about the mysterious Aunt Mo.
All The Delicate Duplicates‘ intricate narrative is delivered through PC/Mac and an app (though the Beta is Windows only), giving a unique transmedia experience that blends gaming with literature to really draw you into the story. The audio/visual design is fantastic and the unique approach to storytelling is very intriguing. If you’re as intrigued as us and want to delve deeper into the mysteries of All The Delicate Duplicates, sign up for the Beta now!
