Alvana is a sci-fi pixel art platformer that sees you using a ninja rope-esque grappling beam to swing your way to safety in before your ship is destroyed.
In Alvana you take control a mechanic aboard a scientific space ship that’s lost control of all it’s alien specimens and you must now use your trusty robot, Crea-t, to help you escape. Alvana is pretty agile, capable of running jumping and wall-jumping, but Crea-t has some abilities that really come in handy as you make your way through the ship. You can throw Crea-t at most types of aliens to kill them and you can also throw him at special grappling points and then use him as a grappling hook that handles much like the ninja ropes in Worms.
The current build of Alvana features around 15 minutes of play and even though it’s only a prototype it feels like a very polished experience. The pixel art animation is excellent, the character controls are very tight and the grappling beam ability is a joy to play around with. The level design is particularly impressive, being just difficult enough to offer a real challenge and making you feel like a badass as you chain together jumps, swings, wall-slides and wall-jumps on your way to the exit. A slick and super fun swinging sci-fi platformer well worth checking out.

An awesome experience :D it’s pretty short and not too easy, you should definitely check it out if you have a controller and like 2D platformers!
