ANNWN, an abstract stealth strategy game that was showcased at the PC Gamer Weekender, sees you trying to make it to the top of the hill, by balancing energy and growing objects around you to teleport.
ANNWN takes you into a surreal world – well a small island, that has a giant Watchman at the highest peak. This being slowly rotates, scanning the land for things it doesn’t like the look of – you are a thing it doesn’t like the look of. And to make things worse, you cannot exactly move easily around the island. You can only teleport to skull-welding totems you create, with the energy you have collected.
You can collect energy by draining the trees and rocks around the area. The entire island is a divided into a board of squares, so tapping energy from the square below a nearby bit of nature is easy to do. Once you want to move, however, you will need to use that energy to grow a tree, turn it into a rock, and then into your totem. This takes time – time you may not have as the Watchmen moves around. If it sees one of your totems or you, it will start to drain the energy from either of them. Once your totem is reduced to a tree, it will move on – or if you move quickly to a new place. The lost energy isn’t lost – it is placed into more trees and rocks around the area, however you will no longer have it to play around with.
Your goal is to make it all the way to the top and drain the energy from the Watchman. You will then be taken to a new environment with a new Watchman to destroy. ANNWN is a challenging, unique, and skillful game to play – give it a try and see if you can take on the Watchmen.

Strange that the website (or this) doesn’t mention it’s a remake of Geoff Crammond’s classic The Sentinel.
Hadn’t heard of The Sentinel before, but after looking it up, this certainly does seem to be a remake. Thanks for the heads up! :)
