Players can now sign up for Anthem pre-launch Beta demo, the hotly anticipated Destiny-esque so-operative multiplayer Sci-Fi action RPG from BioWare and EA.
In Anthem players will be able to step into a Javelin exosuits and team up with up to three other players and explore an evolving world with unpredictable conditions, hazards and enemies. Much like Destiny, it promises to be a live experience, that expands over time, introducing unique stories, challenges, and world-shaking events.
The Javelin exosuits enhance your characters abilities in different ways – allowing you to move faster, propel yourself through the air and even use it as a diving suit in water. You’ll be able to customize your gear, weapons and equipment extensively, and as you progress you’ll unlock new abilities for your character, more exosuits and more abilities for your exosuits.
It’s a great looking game, that seems to offer a bit more diversity in gameplay, enemies and ecosystems than Destiny. It also seems that EA have learned from the Battlefront 2 fiasco, with a promise of absolutely no loot boxes or pay to win mechanics. Anthem is due for release in February 2019, but you can sign up now for an exclusive in-game banner and a chance to join in the pre-launch Beta Demo. Sign up now to see how the makers of Mass Effect and Dragon Age fare when taking on the mighty Destiny.
