Aphotic is a pixel art point and click puzzle adventure where a lone astronaut attempts to repair a huge spaceship that’s infested with a dangerous organism.
In Aphotic you are an astronaut who awakens from cryosleep to find the ship that he’s in is in a state of disrepair and is infested with a deadly plant-like organism. You need to explore the ship, gather useful items and figure out how to operate the various bits of machinery as you get the ship up and running and rid it of the infestation.
The Aphotic demo features a good chunk of gameplay and impresses with its excellent pixel art animation and creative puzzle design. It also does a great job of relaying what’s going on and what you need to do without a single piece of dialogue. Highly recommended.
