It looks like the Switch is getting its first MOBA, with Arena of Valor – an easily accessible 5v5 real-time multiplayer brawler with DC and fantasy characters doing battle in fast paced 10 minute matches.
Previously only available on mobile devices, Arena of Valor is a very popular MOBA from Tencent (publishers of localised versions of League of Legends and PUBG in China). It features over forty different unlockable heroes, many of which are high fantasy or anime-inspired, as well as some familiar DC faces such as Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and The Joker. The characters belong to six different classes (Assassin, Mage, Marksman, Support, Tank and Warrior), with each character equipped with their own specific stats and abilities.
Arena of Valor features multiple game modes, including 1v1, 3v3, 5v5, bot matches and Hook Wars. Battles are fast paced and easily accessible gameplay that still has plenty of depth, with a classic 3 lane MOBA map and lots of enemies and secrets lurking in the jungle.
It may not be as flashy as the likes of DOTA and LoL, but Arena of Valor has certainly found a lot of fans on the mobile market and could be a perfect MOBA experience for the Switch (particularly in handheld mode). Testing will be starting soon in Europe, so sign up now for a chance to prove your worth in the arena.

Please note that you need to select “Nintendo Switch” as the answer of the first question, in order to be able to leave your email address, so that they can contact you for the beta. Probably need to select “Europe” as region as well…
Good point. Thanks for the heads up! :)
