Ash & Rust is a Diablo inspired top-down action RPG adventure where you’re not the hero, but instead are an entity that serves overlords, creatures and companies in a dark fantasy world.
In Ash & Rust you are an entity called an OMEN, which has been granted power and life-after-death in exchange for servitude to your masters. You are sent out on missions across the game’s rich fantasy world where you’ll battle monsters, learn new abilities, slay powerful bosses and collect lots of lovely loot. You’ll also be able to design your character’s abilities from scratch, using a combination of different base types, elements, payloads and augments.
It’s visually very impressive and its dark fantasy world promises to be an interesting place to explore. The combat also looks set to deliver plenty of depth and customizability. Sign up for the Beta to start kicking monster ass and collecting loot!
