Currently in development by FromSouthGames (creators of Esse Proxy), Below, Rusted Gods is a dark and disturbing psychological horror game where you’re part of a team charged with investigating a mysterious deep hole. The team consists of four specialists who are sent to explore the hole and you, whose task is to monitor and give commands to the team from the “safety” of the control room. However, as they descend deeper, they encounter a door and things start to get weird…
The Below, Rusted Gods demo takes about half an hour to play through and is a nail-biting experience from start to finish. The environment is very well designed, the conversations with your team work well and there are lots of clever little visual and audio touches that really set you on edge. By the end you’ll be dying to see more, but also dreading whatever horrible surprises the hole has in store! Highly recommended.
