BH Trials is a physics based digger driving game where you attempt to pilot a digger with no engine through various challenging courses, using only your digger arm and front scoop as a means of propulsion.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer when it was a prototype, in BH Trials you pilot a digger (or Backhoe Loader) which has no engine, steering or brakes. This means that your only form of propulsion, steering and braking come in the form of your rear digger arm and your front scoop.
The analog sticks and triggers of your control pad give you full control of your digger arm and front scoop, but getting them to do what you want can take a little time to master. Initially even the smallest incline can take minutes to conquer, but with a little practice you’ll be able to scale some impossible looking obstacles.
It’s a very odd concept, but BH Trials’ engineless digger driving is surprisingly addictive and a lot of fun. The Beta build of BH Trials is far more polished than the prototype, with a nice selection of challenging levels and even a multiplayer mode if you’re feeling brave. The closed Beta starts on July 16th so sign up now to join in the join in the fun.
