Brawlhalla is bringing its excellent guest star-filled eight player platform fighting to mobile devices, with iOS and Android owners able to sign up for the Beta now.
Originally released on Steam in 2017 (and consoles shortly after), Brawlhalla has managed to create a big splash on the platform fighting scene. Critically it’s second only to Smash Bros, and as it’s cross-platform there’s a good chance it has a higher player count. It features a variety of game modes, from 1v1 to 8 player free-for alls, and fun alternate game modes like Brawlball, Brawldown and Bombsketball.
The original roster features a mixture of ninjas, aliens, Vikings, pirates, cowboys, werewolves, androids, knights and superheroes, each with their own unique abilities. Since its release, Ubisoft bought the dev studio behind Brawlhalla and have helped to secure some notable guest fighters and skins – including Rayman, Adventure Time characters and a wide selection of WWE stars (including Randy Savage, John Cena and The Rock).
It’s pretty much the best platform fighter available on PC, Xbox and PS4 and the mobile version looks set to be as fully featured as its PC/console counterpart (and even features cross-platform play). Sign up for the Beta to take your brawling mobile.
