Card City Nights 2 is a welcome follow-up to the well received original by Ludosity (Little Dew, Random Access Murder) that blended trading card gameplay with a full 8 hour single player adventure, packed whole of memorable characters and great humor. Card City Nights 2 looks set to allow players back into that joyful card battling cartoon world, but this time it’s also introducing online multiplayer!
There’s not much in the way of hard details about Card City Nights 2 at the moment, but the original offered easily accessible TCG gameplay wrapped up in a light hearted single player adventure with great cartoony artwork, fun cameos and a great sense of humor. It also featured a simple, but addictive combat system in which you’d lay your cards on a 3×3 grid, connecting them to form combos and defeat your opponent.
Card City Nights was a great game that was well received on release and had a lot of post release support, the only thing that was missing was online multiplayer – something we’re glad Ludiosity plan to bring to the sequel! The Beta starts in the next few days, so sign up now get back into this colourful card battling cartoon city!
