Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator is a first person action game that puts you in the shoes of some of the Liquidators who fought and gave their lives to help contain the fallout from the Chernobly nuclear meltdown.
We previously featured Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, but even if you played the closed Beta build you’ll want to check out the new demo as it has around three times more content. The full game will allow you to experience the stories of different Liquidators as they work hard to contain the radiation from Chernobyl. This will range from clearing the nearby city of Pripyat to venturing underneath the reactor to empty the water tanks.
The demo build allows you to experience the full story of one of the Liquidators, with you being one of the first at the scene and being called on to rescue some technicians at the top of the building. To aid your assignment you are equipped with a spade, a crowbar, some bolt-cutters and a water-filled backpack that you can use to extinguish flames.
The detail in the environments is incredible but don’t expect this to be a 100% authentic recreation of what the Liquidators did. It’s more like you’re a hero in a disaster movie, with you fighting fire, making death-defying jumps and traversing crumbling ruins. There’s no denying it makes for a tense and captivating experience though and it’ll be interesting to see how the other Liquidators stories play out.
