Chorus of Carcosa is a Lovecraftian first person psychological horror adventure that draws inspiration from The King of Yellow, as an anxious sculptor descends into madness.
Drawing inspiration from R. W. Chambers’ The King in Yellow, Chorus of Carcosa follows the story of a recluse sculptor whose world is turned upside down one night as a blood-soaked neighbor knocks on his door. Things soon start to get weird as structures change, menacing statues hunt you and you are forced to venture out from the comfort and (relative) safety of your home.
The playtest build of Chorus of Carcosa takes around twenty minutes to play through and impresses with its excellent environmental design, voice acting, and the interesting ways the building shifts. The Weeping Angel-esque statue monsters are particularly terrifying and make for some very tense moments. Sign up for the Beta and make sure you don’t take your eyes off the artwork!
