Chronomania: Blast From The Past is a fast paced parkour platformer FPS where you have the ability to slow, freeze and rewind time as you battle an evil robot mafia.
Drawing inspiration from 90’s classics like Doom and Quake, Chronomania: Blast From The Past is a retro styled FPS with a focus on player movement and time-manipulation. In the game you travel through time battling a robot mafia in locations varying from Triassic jungles to 80’s laboratories.
You can run, slide, double jump and wall jump as you race through levels containing kill-rooms filled with deadly robots. You can shoot and punch enemies, but you also have the ability to slow down time, freeze enemies in time, rewind enemies through time or even rewind yourself through time.
It’s still early in development so it lacks a little polish, but Chronomania: Blast From The Past shows a lot of promise. There’s a nice flow to the character movement, it’s got a great visual style and the time-manipulation mechanics are a great touch. You’ll have a blast with this Blast From The Past.
