Closed Circuit is a clever little grid-based puzzle game where you attempt to lay out wiring so that it connects lightbulbs to a power source.
Created for the Black and White Jam, in each level of Closed Circuit your goal is simple – lay out the wire in such a way that it passes through all the lightbulbs and comes back to the power source to complete the circuit. You need to pass through the lightbulbs to connect them and you cannot cross over a wire that’s already been laid down (but you can use the Back button to spool back the wire).
It’s a fairly simple, but clever concept and the visual style is excellent, but the puzzle design is what really impresses. Things get tricky fast, especially once the moveable boxes are introduced, and it requires some real thought to beat its deviously designed levels.
Important Note: There is a “back” button in the game. It’s not an “Undo” button and is vital for solving the later levels.
