Crimson is a gritty, trippy and unsettling rhythm horror platformer set in a distorted, glitchy world where the world moves to the rhythm of heavy industrial metal music.
In Crimson you control a fleshy red ball as it makes its way through a freaky glitchy world full of deadly hazards. You can roll, double jump and wall jump, and as you make your way through the game world you collect fire and use it to set fire to pentagrams. All the while the world around you pulses and moves to the beat of heavy industrial metal music and the track changes each time you set fire to a pentagon.
The current build of Crimson contains one level and takes around ten minutes to play through. It’s very tough and the environment is deeply unsettling, but it’s also very addictive and oddly mesmerising. The way the glitchy hell world moves to the beat is a remarkable thing to behold and it makes for a very unique experience. Highly recommended.
