Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse is a hilarious point and click adventure set within the Cyanide & Happiness universe, where a weird ginger haired school boy sets out to save the world.
Currently in development by Explosm (creators of Cyanide & Happiness) and Skeleton Crew Studios (creators of Grave Chase and Abobo’s Big Adventure), Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse brings the Cyanide & Happiness brand of offbeat humor to the point and click adventure genre. In the game you follow the story of a rather unpopular schoolkid called Coop McCarthy as he stumbles into an absurd adventure which may require him to save the world.
The Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse demo build takes place before the “Freakpocalypse” takes place and sees you simply trying to obtain a hall pass to appease a bad tempered hall monitor. It takes around 20 minutes to play through and is packed full of the quirky characters and absurd humor that Cyanide & Happiness is famous for. There’s lots to discover as you explore the school and there are lots of great little gags. What’s more, the core point and click adventure gameplay is a lot of fun too, and hearkens back to the glory days of the Lucasarts’ games. Highly recommended.
