Bigger, better and harder than ever, Dark Souls is back to kick your ass for the ridiculously short time of 3 hours. Dark Souls 2 open Beta tests will take part On the 26th/27th of October, first thing in the morning in Europe and in the middle of the night in the US. Trust Dark Souls to even make Beta testing as hard as possible! Namco Bandai claim that this Beta will contain “an entirely new area of the game” that will allow players to “delve into one of the most treacherous areas of the Dark Souls 2 world”.
The Beta is open to all PS+ subscribers in the Europe and 30,000 players in the US.
European PS+ Subscribers can download the 3.7GB Beta now through the Playstation Store (Recommended as you don’t want to waste time downloading it when the Beta starts), with the Beta starting at 7am and finishing at 10am (UK time) on Sunday the 27th.
For US players, a universal code will be posted on the official Dark Souls Facebook page or sent to players through the PSN message box, with the Beta test starting at 11pm on Saturday the 26th and finishing at 2am on Sunday the 27th.
