Beta sign ups are now live for Dawn of War 3, Relic’s next eagerly awaited instalment of the popular Warhammer 40k based RTS franchise that looks set to allow for some truly colossal battles between Space Marines, Eldar and Orks.
The set up for Dawn of War 3 is that a catastrophic weapon, known as the Spear of Khaine, has been found on the planet Acheron. All three factions then converge on the planet and fight for control of it in a battle that could very well mean extinction for your race if you lose.
Dawn of War 3 will feature a full three faction campaign and online multiplayer battles (the multiplayer is what the current Beta sign up is for). It looks set to offer some truly epic battles packed full of spectacle and bombastic carnage, with large swarms of units, collectible Elite squads, powerful super-abilities and gigantic war machines that can turn the tide of battle.
