Derail Valley is a very cool train driving simulator with a vast railway network, immersive and intuitive gameplay and scarily realistic derailment physics that will recreate your crashes in exquisite detail!
Coming to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, Derail Valley aims to give players a fully immersive and authentic locomotive driving experience. In the game you’ll be able to build a career as a train driver – jumping into a variety of different trains, taking control of them from within their highly detailed interiors and carrying out procedural assignments across the game’s expansive 256 km² railway network.
There will be plenty of beautiful vistas to take in as your trains roll out through the massive game world, but you don’t want to get too distracted – accidents can happen in the blink of an eye in Derail Valley. Not only does it simulate the beauty of train travel, but it simulates the imperfections too – old rusty tracks, tight budgets, unforeseen hazards, tight bends and driver complacency can cause things to go seriously wrong. When things go wrong, they go spectacularly wrong, with the train derailing and careering through the landscape uncontrollable while you sit within it praying for your life.
It’s a great looking game that looks set to offer an immersive, authentic and thrilling virtual train simulation. The devs are keen to hear feedback on the latest Beta build which will release on September the 30th. Entrants who have actively participated in discussions on the forum or Discord, and those who have logged in significant amount of playtime with the demo within the last two weeks will be prioritised.
