Beta sign ups are now live for Diablo Immortal – a massively multiplayer Diablo game coming to iOS and Android devices.
Sure, you’d most likely prefer a Diablo MMO for home computers and consoles, but Diablo Immortal does look pretty good. It’s set between the events of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 3. It’s now five years after the Worldstone was shattered and ancient evils are attempting to harness the fragments of it to bring back the Lord of Terror. You and your online companions must now venture forth, battle the forces of darkness and (most importantly) collect lots of loot.
As well as the traditional Diablo style dungeon crawling Diablo Immortal will also feature large social hubs, dynamic events and drop in and drop out group-based gameplay. There are six character classes that have been announced so far – Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer and Wizard – all with their own unique skills and weaponry.
It’s not Diablo 4, but there’s certainly a lot to like about Diablo Immortal – the visuals are stunning, the bosses are huge, the gameplay is smooth and the massively multiplayer elements should add to the whole experience. Pre-register now for exclusive in-game rewards and a chance to take part in future Beta tests.

Kinda makes sense for a mobile version of Diablo. Will definitely try it out and hope it comes for PC too.
