Dinosaur Fossil Hunter is a palaeontology simulation adventure where you visit locations around the world, excavate fossils, clean them up, assemble them and put them on display in your very own museum.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer back in 2020, Dinosaur Fossil Hunter is a palaeontologist simulation game where you do everything from digging up the fossils to setting up the museum exhibits to display them in. The gameplay is split between the excavation locations and the museum. At the excavation locations you can drive around, use specialised tools to identify possible fossils, dig them up and send them to the museum.
In the museum you’re able to clean up the fossils, assemble the various parts to complete the dinosaur skeletons then display them in your museum. You have a lot of control over each of the displays, with you able to add different decorative elements such as rocks and plants, recreating the dinos’ habitats.
It’s a great looking game, and as far as simulation games go, Dinosaur Fossil Hunter is certainly one of the most immersive, with all the aspects of palaeontology recreated from when the fossils are underground to when they’re on display in the museum. Sign up now to unearth the Beta.
