PC owners can now sign up to Beta test Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, the fourth installment of the long running Disaster Report series, which puts players in the shoes of a survivor in the midst of a city destroyed by a massive earthquake.
Previously released in on PS4 and Switch in Japan only, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is now coming to Western shores, with a release on PC, PS4 and Switch due for April this year (though testing is only on PC). In the game your goal is to escape from a city that’s been destroyed by a catastrophic earthquake. Along the way you’ll meet and aid other survivors, each with their own story. The decisions you make along the way will really matter and just because the main quake is over, it doesn’t mean you’re no longer in peril – aftershocks, fires, collapsing buildings, unstable ground and debris can easily claim lives in the devastated city.
It’s a great looking game that should deliver a very unique gaming experience. The Disaster Report series has been around for some time now, but the current generation of PC graphics cards should finally be able deliver a truly believable large scale natural disaster experience. Sign ups close on tomorrow (13th of Feb) at 10 AM Pacific Time, so sign up quick to join in the fight.
