Do Not Feed The Monkeys is a digital voyeur simulator in which you observe strangers via surveillance cameras and watch their most private moments. However, you’re under strict instructions not to interact with them – do not feed the monkeys!
In Do Not Feed The Monkeys you take on the role of a new member of The Primate Observation Club – a shadowy organisation that observes people (dubbed the “monkeys”) via compromised webcams and surveillance cameras. The game plays out via a faux Windows desktop, with you view the feeds of the monkeys, take notes, surf the web, buy items, read the news, send emails and more. You can basically do most of the things you can do on a real computer, but with the ability to peer into people’s lives and screw with them.
As the title of the game suggests, you’re under strict instructions to not feed the monkeys – which means that you shouldn’t interact or interfere with the subjects in any way. However, it seems that a lot of the club member’s can’t stick to that simple rule. Can You? Or will you use your knowledge to help them, extort them or sabotage their dreams for your amusement? The choice is up to you!
It’s a fantastic concept, that looks set to offer up plenty of funny moments and moral quandaries as you voyeuristically watch people live out their lives and decide whether to interact with them or not. Will you feed the monkeys?
