Epocha Tower is a stylish pixel art adventure that blends the dungeon exploration of Zelda with the daily activity style gameplay of Persona as you make your way through a mysterious tower that everyone in the world dreams of beating.
Drawing inspiration from Tower of Druaga, Zelda: A Link to the Past and Persona, Epocha Tower puts you in the role of a brave adventurer who hopes to be the first to conquer the mysterious Epocha Tower – a shifting, labyrinthine tower that’s defeated all that have gone before you. It’s full of traps, puzzles and treasure, and as tough as it’ll be to beat it, its shifting walls mean that it may be just as hard to escape!
The goal of the game is not to send you on an adventure, but to let you live an adventurous life. Your time is spent between the tower and the city that has built up near it. The city has built up solely because of the tower and is full of shops, inns and people who will aid hopeful adventurers (for the right price).
Epocha Tower is still early in development, but it’s a promising game, with some great pixel art animation, an intriguing lore and an interesting day-to-day take on the classic top-down dungeon crawling adventure genre. Sign up for the Beta to see if you can conquer the tower!
