Exploratombe is a massively multiplayer pixel art platformer where players race through short and challenging levels full of physics-based hazards that they can use to sabotage each other.
The massively multiplayer platforming gameplay of Exploratombe is a little similar to Mario 35, but with players having a lot more interaction between each other and with the physics-based hazards in the world. Players race to reach the finish line, through levels that are filled with deadly traps, but the other players aren’t just ghosts as in Mario 35 – everyone’s actually in the game space, and they can all interact with objects and each other. So for instance, you can shove players into lava pits, trigger deadly spikes or squash them with boulders.
It’s a fun looking game that should offer plenty of multiplayer mayhem as players screw each other over with the various booby traps and hazards. It promises hundreds of different levels to race through and a level editor which allows you to create and share your own. Playtests take place every Friday at 21:30 CET so sign up now to join in the fun.
