F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is a dieselpunk beat ‘em up platforming metroidvania where you control an angry bunny with a bionic arm as it fights its way through a legion of machines that have overrun his city.
The action platforming metroidvania gameplay of F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch takes place in Torch City – a place originally inhabited by animals but which has now been colonized by an army of machines. You take on the role of a resistance fighter called Rayton – a bunny with a massive mechanical fist that he can use to pummel his enemies into submission.
The current build of F.I.S.T. takes around 15 minutes to play through and features one lages level that finishes with a boss fight. Rayton is fast, agile and responsive to control and his huge metallic fist really packs a punch. You can unleash a variety of devastating combos and you can even transform into different forms – a drill and a fist (with a whip also coming in the full game), each with their own unique attacks and combos.
It’s a great looking game, with gorgeous Unreal Engine 4 powered visuals, slick animation and some spectacular special attacks. It makes for a fantastic fusion of beat ‘em up and platforming gameplay as you smash the robot legion to smithereens. This bunny really packs a punch!
