Codemasters have just announced Xbox One, PC and PS4 Beta sign ups for F1 2017 – an all new F1 racing instalment that’s a must for all petrol heads.
Codemasters haven’t released any footage (the GIF above is from F1 2016) or much in the way of info about F1 2017 yet, but due to the fact that F1 2016 was such a well received and comprehensive F1 racing package (with the career mode being a particular highlight), the majority of changes this year will likely come from the significant changes to the car and tyre regulations that are happening this year. These include wider and longer vehicles, with more downforce and much wider tyres, all of which should allow vehicles to shave 3 to 5 seconds of previous lap times.
300 Beta testers will be selected for each platform that F1 2017 is coming to – Xbox One, PC and PS4. The Xbox One and PC Betas will be available worldwide, but PS4 will only be available in Europe. Codemasters have also announced a helmet designing competition, with the winning entries receiving lots of F1 2017 goodies and getting their designs featured in the full game! On your marks, get set, draw!
