Fast Food is a wonderfully weird veggie rollercoaster action adventure that sees you jumping between tracks on a gigantic rollercoaster, activating switches, avoiding hazards and battling bosses.
In Fast Food you control an onion who rides half an avocado along an intricate rollercoaster network as you attempt to stop a greedy leak from stealing all the water from your vegetable-filled world. The game is split into two large open worlds, with you given objectives in each one, often requiring you to shoot objects and figure out how to navigate from one area to another. The tracks are full of deadly hazards that you need to dodge, but your little onion is pretty nimble – able to boost, lean left and right, jump, shoot and switch between parallel tracks.
Due to the way that the entire game world is on rails it can be a little tricky to find your way around at first, either going round in circles or taking massive unnecessary detours, but once you get to grips with it Fast Food is great fun. There are some pretty frustrating difficulty spikes (especially in the boss fights), but it’s a lighthearted, fast paced and unique little adventure well worth taking for a ride. All aboard for this brilliantly bizarre high speed veggie rollercoaster adventure!
