Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is a beautiful hand drawn turn based tactical RPG that sees you playing an agent of an Immortal Council, who’s tasked with preserving order in a land full of mystery and danger.
In Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark you take on the role of Arbiter Kyrie – an agent of the Immortal Council who behaves a little like a sheriff or a police officer, arresting wrongdoers and keeping peace in the land. There is a lot of crime out there, but you’re not on your own – you can recruit members to your team from a selection of over 20 classes with a possible 200 abilities.
In the full game you’ll set out on an epic adventure, unravelling the many mysteries of the beautiful lore-rich gameworld. The current demo build gives players a great taste of things to come with the first two story battles that take around 15 minutes to complete. It plays a little like Disgaea but with a slightly less insane narrative, and there are also hints of strategic elements to the environments you fight in – for instance if you stand on a trapdoor then it’ll stop enemy reinforcements from joining the battle
Even in these early stages of development the level of polish and quality of the artwork in Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark is very impressive. Combine that with the lore-rich game world, interesting characters and deep tactical combat and you’ve got a tactical turn based RPG that could be something very special. Highly recommended for turn based tactics fans.
