Fights in Tight Spaces is a deck-building turn-based tactics game that essentially allows you to choreograph your own John Wick style action movie battles, with the cards you lay dictating what moves your fighter makes.
In Fights in Tight Spaces you’re presented with one ass-kicking character in a black suit who has to dispatch various bad guys within a small area. Each turn you can lay cards that allow you to perform a wide variety of different fighting moves, with an aim of eliminating your opponents swiftly and brutally.
There are over 150 cards that you can build your deck from all allowing you to pull off some action-packed fight sequences. The confined spaces have an impact on the gameplay, with you attempting to keep certain enemies at a distance until you’re ready to take them on. You can also use the environment to your advantage, by pulling off moves like wall-kicks or knocking enemies into hazards. Later on you’ll also have to protect VIP’s while doing all this, which adds another layer of tactics to the proceedings.
It’s an incredibly cool game that delivers a very unique take on the turn-based tactics genre. The Beta is due to take place this weekend so sign up now to start laying cards and kicking ass!
