Fire Season is a fun and fast-paced 90’s styled first person combat game where you fire spells at cultists and mob-spawners in a strange Hellish world.
The gameplay in Fire Season is very simple, but fun. Your aim in each level is to shoot your way through hordes of enemies and blast the spawners that they spew out from. You then collect the keys that the spawners drop and open up gateways that lead to the exit.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, it’s a very fast-paced experience with a run n’ gun 90’s-esque FPS play style. The spawners constantly throw out masses of enemies and you constantly have to keep moving to avoid the various hordes that chase and shoot at you.
It would be nice if there was a bit more variety (especially regarding your firepower), but it’s a fun little game with addictive gameplay and a beautiful visual style. Well worth checking out for a bit of old school run n’ gun fun.
