Fortnite Battle Royale is going mobile and players can sign up for a chance to join in the last man standing Battle Royale warfare on iOS now!
After emerging as a spinoff from the main Fortnite game, Fortnite Battle Royale has been a massive success on PC, Mac and consoles, and now it looks set to conquer the mobile market too. Fortnite Battle Royale for iOS (Android coming soon) promises to offer all the 100 player scavenging, building and shooting fun of the original but squeezed into the palm of your hand. Interestingly, it will also offer Cross Play and Cross Progression with the PS4, Mac and PC versions (no Xbox One though), with players able to continue their progression across multiple devices and squad up with friends on other platforms.
The current build of Fortnite Battle Royale will be for iOS only, but the devs are planning to add Android support in the next few months (there is FortCraft if you really can’t wait). Invites will be rolling out soon and to join in the last man standing mobile fun you’ll need to be running iOS 11 on at least an iPhone 6E/SE, iPad Mini 4, IPad Air 2 or above.
