Fortnite has now entered open Beta on Android, with players able to download and join in the battle royale fun now, with no invite required.
Continuing its quest for world domination, Fortnite now looks set to conquer the Android market. We covered the closed Beta sign up back in August, but now it’s open to all, with players able to download and join in the battle royale fun right away. You won’t find it on the Google Play Store though, as Epic aren’t keen on paying Google a cut of their profits. Instead you download it via Epic’s own website.
You’ll need a reasonably modern Android device to play Fortnite on mobile, such as a Samsung Galaxy S7 or newer (there’s a full list here) and it’s recommended to be running Android 8.0 or higher. Other than that, you know the drill by now – drop into the island, scavenge, build and fight to be the last one standing!
