Galactic Junk League is a very cool looking space-based arena combat game in which players build and customize their own ships from a vast selection of building blocks, then unleash them in spectacle-filled multiplayer combat that tests their creations and their piloting skills.
Playing a little like Robocraft, but in space, players can build anything they desire from agile starfighters to hulking battleships, with each piece added to the ship affecting it’s power, manoeuvrability and special abilities. It’s set in a post apocalyptic universe, where arena combat a form of entertainment for the masses and weapons often have to be improvised – such as making a torpedo out of a rusty fridge. The victors of these matches earn rewards and unlock new building blocks to further improve their ship (so maybe your torpedo fridges will be a little less rusty!).
It’s still early in development, but Galactic Junk League already looks very impressive and it has a great core concept. Build ’em and blow ’em up in this Robot Wars in space!
