Goat of Duty sees heavily armed goats blowing each other up in fast paced multiplayer arena combat that draws inspiration from Quake and Unreal Tournament.
As we mentioned last year during the Alpha sign up, Goat of Duty plans to deliver an action packed multiplayer arena combat experience full of guns, goats and gore. You may think goats aren’t really suited to arena warfare, but as the devs put it ”they can jump high, they can make funny sounds and they are goats, which is always a win”.
The goats of Goat of Duty come in a variety of different forms, such as Lara Goat, Goatzilla and Goat of War, with you unlocking new (and just as silly) costumes via play. There are eight maps, ranging from a medieval village to a space station, and there are four game modes. It also has a nice selection of OTT weaponry, including rocket launchers, impalers and saw blades, or you can just ram opponents with your head!
It’s a fun looking game that looks set to offer a welcome dose of lighthearted run n’ gun arena combat, ragdoll hilarity and goat-on-goat brutality. Beta testing is due to start next week, sign up now to start turning those goats into goat meat.
