Gravity Vector is a challenging new physics based space simulation game in which you pilot tiny capsules and attempt to use the gravitational pulls of planets to slingshot your way around them into target wormholes.
In each level of Gravity Vector your aim is to propel your little capsule to a target wormhole. However, planets, asteroids and even hostile spaceships stand in your way – you need to plot a safe course, taking into account gravitational pulls of nearby planets which can dramatically alter your course. It’s a little like Galactic Pocket Billiards and Worlds Apart, but played in first person and with the ability to use thrusters to alter your course after you’ve been fired out from your launching system.
Each level of Gravity Vector offers a near infinite amount of ways to fail but also more than a few different ways to succeed. There are also secrets to discover that can unlock new levels and upgrades for your capsule. Upgrades will allow you to add larger fuel tanks, better thrusters and other useful equipment, but each added piece of equipment will increase your mass and thus increase your inertia – which you need to take into account when planning your trajectory.
It’s a fun looking game that looks set to offer lots of physics based space exploring fun. You’ll die a lot, but each failure will bring you closer to lining up that perfect shot!
