Halo: Online is a PC-Only Free-to-Play multiplayer FPS based in the Halo universe that’s due for release in Russia only (at the moment), BUT you don’t have to be based in Russia to play it.
It’s been a long time since a true Halo game has graced PC screens (no, we don’t count Spartan Strike), so Halo: Online is a very enticing prospect. It won’t feature a campaign mode, but will feature fast paced multiplayer gameplay based on a highly modified version of the Halo 3 engine.
The bad news (unless you’re Russian), is that at the moment, 343 Industries are only planning to release it in Russia. The good news? Through the magic of Google Translate everyone can sign up for some first person Spartan shooting! Just follow our guide below:
Step 1: With Chrome, visit the Beta Sign Up page and use the translate button on Chrome to decipher it (In top right corner)
Step 2: Click on ‘Create an account’, fill in your email address in the right box OR simply connect with Facebook
Step 3: Click the link in the email you are sent (check spam) to activate your account. Then use the translate function on Chrome again, then fill in your details. VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure you select ‘Russia’ as your country! Once you’ve submitted your details successfully you’ll be directed back to the original sign in page.
Step 4: Wait! If you get into the beta, your key will be emailed to you when it launches. Good luck!
UPDATE: This Beta Is No Longer Available
