Hanako: Honor & Blade is an online multiplayer combat game set in Feudal Japan which sees Swordsmen, Pikemen, Assassins and Archers facing off in skill based 24 player battles.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer last June, Hanako: Honor & Blade is a third person combat game with MOBA elements. In the game you’ll fight on different battlegrounds set across 16th century Feudal Japan, while you embark on a symbolic campaign representing a personal trial of life and death of a lost loved one
There’s a variety of different game modes and four playable character classes – The Kenshi (Swordsmen), Naginatashi (Pikemen), Ninja (Assassins) or Ite (Archers). Each character class has their own unique combat style, movement and weapons, and they also have multiple stances to master. You’ll also be able to pull of combos and special attacks and throughout matches you can unlock powerful new skills to aid your fight.
Hanako: Honor & Blade is currently holding a free open beta weekend, allowing players to drop in for some feudal fighting fun up until Sunday April the 7th. We also have 50 Steam Early Access keys to give away that’ll allow you to play on after the open Beta ends. To enter just carry out any of the actions in the widget below.
