Hoplegs is a tricky QWOP-like physics-based platformer where you use extendable legs to propel your character through its challenging levels.
Playing a little like a fusion of TorqueL and Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy, Hoplegs is a challenging physics-based platformer where you try to propel a little box character through rage-inducingly tough levels. Each of the sides of your little box corresponds to a different button and when you press that button a little leg will shoot out and push you in the opposite direction. It’s an unconventional method of movement, but once you master it you’ll be able to pull off some pretty spectacular maneuvers (and quite a lot of even more spectacular fails!)
As well as single-player, Hoplegs will feature co-op multiplayer and a fully featured level editor that you’ll be able to make all manner of challenging courses in. You’ll also be able to customize your little boxy avatar with different hats, faces, box types and legs.
It’s a fun game with a clever control scheme and tricky level design that scratches that same rage-quit itch as Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy. Sign up for the Alpha to see if you can master the art of box bouncing.
