Hyper Scape, Ubisoft’s new futuristic urban battle royale game is now in open Beta, with PC players able to jump in now to start shooting and hacking their way to glory.
Featured on Alpha Beta Gamer a couple of weeks ago during the closed Beta sign up, Hyper Scape is Ubisoft’s take on the battle royale genre, and so far it’s leaving a good impression. Notable features include upgradeable “hacks” that allow you to use powerful special abilities, a detailed game world with lots of verticality and Twitch integration which allows spectators to activate game modifiers.
The Hyper Scape open Beta is available to download now and when compared to the closed Beta it features a new hack, a new weapon, new limited-time game modes and a free 30 tier battle pass. Also, your progress in the open Beta will carry over to the full game when that releases. Ubisoft may be a little late to the party when it comes to battle royale games, but Hyper Scape certainly has enough new ideas and fun gameplay to make it a contender.
