Xbox owners can now sign up to Beta test the upcoming Xbox port of HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed, the wave-based third person shooter where you battle hordes of toys and action figures.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer way back in 2017, HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed is a nostalgia-filled horde mode style third person shooter where you control action figures who do battle against waves of toys. It’s playable in single-player and online co-op with up to for players (or PvP with up to eight players) and sees you trying to survive in different everyday environments, such as a toy shop or a back garden. In matches you need to defend your Hypercore From the enemy toys and to help you do so you’re able to find weapons and use resources to build defenses (as in a tower defense game).
HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed has been a huge hit on PC so it’s great to see it coming to Xbox consoles too. Battles are fast, fun and satisfyingly strategic and there are lots of customization options to kit out your brave little action figure with. Sign up now to unbox the Beta.
