Hypogea is an atmospheric 3D platforming adventure where you use a staff to pole-vault through an ancient Sci-Fi megastructure.
An entirely wordless experience, in Hypogea you are a robot who is accidentally brought back to life by another robot as they’re making their way through a rusty old megastructure. You’re then gifted a staff that comes in handy as you search for power-cells to help you and your new friend traverse the megastructure.
The staff can be used to help you pole vault across large gaps and reach high areas. You can also use it to activate mechanisms and latch onto ledges, hooks and chains. It’s a very useful multi-purpose tool that’s invaluable as you make your journey
It’s a very chilled out and atmospheric game that blends exploration, puzzle solving and platforming. There are some interesting fragments of lore in the demo and the pole-vaulting staff is a lot of fun to use. Highly recommended.
