Pre-Alpha sign ups are now live for I Am Fish, a fishy sequel to I Am Bread, which sees you controlling a goldfish as it attempts to roll its way to the ocean.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer back in 2019 when it was a prototype, I Am Fish is a tricky physics-based platforming adventure from Bossa Studios (creators of I Am Bread and Surgeon Simulator). In the game you take control of a goldfish as it attempts to make its escape to the ocean across a series of hazard-filled levels.
Unlike other physics based ball-rolling platformers (such as Super Monkey Ball), in I Am Fish you don’t control the movement of the ball, but the movement of the little fish inside it. This makes maneuvering your bowl (or any other receptacles you find yourself in) a whole lot harder, and there’s also the small issue that your glass bowl is very fragile, so you need to minimize heavy impacts as much as possible.
The prototype build of I Am Fish was a lot of fun so it’s great news that Bossa are continuing to develop it. It’s a very unique take on the physics-based ball-rolling genre and it’s packed full of Bossa Studios’ trademark humor and personality. The I Am Fish Pre-Alpha is due to launch on March 1st so sign up now to join in the fishy fun!
