Infinus aims to expand the traditional third person horde combat genre, by introducing RPG elements such as narrative, pets, side quests, special abilities and mythical weapons as you travel around the world map battling waves of enemies.
Playable in single player, local split screen co-op or online co-op, Infinus looks set to blend horde mode and RPG elements as you fight your way through waves and waves of enemies in its stylish low poly world. As you explore the maps you’ll unravel the game’s narrative, take part in side quests and discover easter eggs whilst attempting to survive against the waves of enemies.
Each player will be able to choose a companion beast (such as a tiger or wolf) that can aid you in combat and help you travel around the map. As you progress and complete side quests you’ll earn rewards such as companion upgrades, new special abilities and powerful mythical weapons.
It’s still very early in development but Infinus is a very stylish looking game and the promise of horde mode combat with more depth is certainly enticing. Sign up for the Beta to be one of the first to take on the hordes.
