Jousty Dragons a fun high flying low poly dragon-riding jousting simulator where you attempt to out-maneuver your opponent in the skies and knock them off their dragon.
Created for the NoJam game jam, Jousty Dragons is a simple, but addictive aerial combat game where you take to the skies on the back of a low poly dragon and attempt to knock your opponent off their dragon. It has a split-screen 2 player mode and a single-player mode – both of which see you competing in a best-of-five round match. The rounds are quick and the controls are easy to pick up and play, with you controlling the direction of the dragon’s flight with the left analog stick and the direction you point your jousting pole with the right analog stick.
It’s a game jam prototype, so the current build is fairly basic, but it shows a lot of promise. with fast paced dragon riding aerial combat that would be perfect for expanding on. The jousting gameplay means that you get much more up close and personal to your opponent than traditional airplane/spaceship dogfighting games and being able to ride on the back of a dragon is always cool!
