Just A Shadow Game features a blend of deckbuilding, roguelite and tower-autobattling gameplay as you attempt to conquer a realm where light fears to tread.
In Just A Shadow Game you are on a quest to become the Ritual Master of a realm of shadows and nightmares. You’ll choose your route through the world where you’ll collect cards and use them in strategic 1v1 battles.
In the turn-based battles you must build towers that spawn units or attack enemies directly. The units move and the towers attack automatically so you can focus on the overall strategy. There’s a big focus on sacrificing towers to build more powerful ones too, so you need to find a good balance between the two.
The demo features 32 unique cards, three combat levels, seven rooms and a mysterious encounter. It’s an addictive game with a great visual style, a delightfully dark atmosphere and easily accessible gameplay. Sacrifices will be made on your journey to conquer this shadowy realm.
