Karlson is a wonderfully chaotic physics based parkour first person shooter where you use wall-runs, grapple guns and explosions to propel you through the levels.
Essentially a 3D remake of the 2D version of Karlson (from the same dev, Dani) which we featured Last week, Karlson’s jump to the third dimension allows for much more physics based chaos and parkour platformer fun. Levels generally see you carrying of feats of parkour platforming agility while taking out the various Naruto-running enemies that lurk within them. There’s a nice selection of weaponry to try out, including a nifty grappling gun and grenade launchers which you can rocket-jump with, propelling you high into the air.
The current build of Karlson features 11 unique levels, offering a diverse selection of gameplay and a real challenge later on. It is still a little rough around the edges, but the core gameplay is already a whole lot of fun and it’s a blast figuring out different ways to approach each level. Well worth checking out for a bit of run n’ gun parkour platforming fun.
