Beta sign ups are live again for KartRider: Drift, a fun looking Mario Kart-esque cross-platform kart racing game that allows you to turn off rubber-banding and RNG.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer a couple of years ago, KartRider: Drift is a multiplayer online kart racing that looks a little similar to Modnation Racers. It features online multiplayer cross-play between Xbox, Playstation and PC, as well as local split-screen multiplayer. It also promises a huge amount of character and kart customization options.
If there’s one thing that is persistently irritating about Mario Kart then it’s the rubberbanding and RNG. However, in KartRider: Drift, as well as traditional game modes you’ll also be able to play Speed Mode – a skills based game mode with no items, rubberbanding or RNG. There’s also promise of plenty of seasonal content drops, with new karts, characters, skins and tracks. The Beta is due to start on December 8th, so sign up now to be revving your engine on the start line when it begins.
